Yes, there has been a LOT of questions concerning this mod for Super Smash Brothers on both the Wii and the Dolphin emulator. I have been able to help out a couple people but most of you run into so many different issues I never heard of. I wish I could help but sadly I'm NOT the creator of the mod or a professional in any way, shape or form. I only updated this to quickly show that the mod is super fun to play and how to install it.
I used the latest dolphin version during the time (Dolphin 5.0) and used the Smash Bros. Brawl game, set the ISO directory, set it to 'Default ISO', then played the game off the 'boot.elf' file located in Documents > Dolphin Emulator > Wii > GeckoOS > boot.elf. Then, once gecko v1.9 boots, you use the controller you set up, go to'Config Options', then put 'Gecko Hook Type' as 'AXNextFrame' and also put 'SD Cheats' on 'Yes' to enable the mod. Then Save. Then launch the game. The mod SHOULD start. (The place where I showed you where I got the ACTUAL game is 7.92GB and I only kept the ISO, the NFO, and the SFV. Nothing else.)
If you STILL can't get it to work then I'm so so so sorry! I'm trying the best I can to help even though I never ran into these problems or can see your computer to show you EXACTLY how to do it step by step. If you figured out the error, then please I do encourage you to help the other combatants set up their game too. Be kind and I'm sorry I can't help everyone at once. I'm trying my best!

Got it to work sort of. When I load it, the only thing different is the music that's it. Do you have solution?

Ok I got it to work but then for some reason a bunch a code shows up and then it pauses for no reason. Is it normally like this? It says Expection (DSI) occurred. Sometimes it has an error cause it can't read the part of the code

it loads gecko but i cant go to settings or move at all. the only thing i can do is hit enter and that pops up something about nand dump
